“International Business Contest” organized by OVAL
OVAL, a tri-national university student organization established in 2003, has been hosting the International Business Contest (IBC) since 2005, continuing its legacy through its 22nd edition this year.
The IBC, short for International Business Contest, provides university students from Korea, China, and Japan with an opportunity to conceptualize and develop business plans based on a specified theme.
Since its inception in 2005, OVAL IBC has not only functioned as a competition but also as a platform that fosters collaboration among university students from China, Japan, and Korea. Unlike competitions held solely within a single country or on a global scale, OVAL IBC uniquely brings together students from these three Northeast Asian countries, providing participants with a sense of solidarity due to shared geographic proximity, similar cultures, and languages.
Amid the increasing attention towards Asia's potential, the collaboration of talents from Korea, China, and Japan through OVAL IBC can lead the way in envisioning and promoting harmony for the future of Northeast Asia.
Throughout the years since its inception in 2005, countless university student talents who have participated in OVAL IBC have had the opportunity to realize their virtual business ideas through the competition. In response, OVAL has continuously hosted the competition to support the growth of university student talents from China, Japan, and Korea.
